Norfolk Island Country Music Festival 19 – 26 May 2012 is fast approaching.

Hibiscus are very pleased to say we are almost “booked out” at all 4 of our properties for the week…we only have a couple of rooms left ! So if you want to join us, hurry and contact us. We are less than half a minutes walk to the venue where it is held.
Annette Hawkins & Kim Copedo from New Zealand are hosting a group for this festival and they are staying at Hibiscus Aloha for the week.

In February we welcomed back our regular guests and friends for the Clay Target championships. Even though the weather didn’t start out fantastic for the first day, true to Norfolk Island’s form we turned on the perfect weather and once again the championships were a huge success.

It was especially wonderful to have Mr & Mrs Butters from New Zealand stay with us again on their 16th visit. Every year they come to participate in the Norfolk Island Clay Target championships and stay in the same unit at Hibiscus Aloha. When we asked Mr & Mrs Butters if we could post them on the Hibiscus website, they said it would be a privilege. But really it is our privilege to have such supportive return guests. The Butters have already booked for February 2013 !! All of us at Hibiscus Resort & Motels wish to Thank Mr & Mrs Butters for their continual support and look forward to welcoming them once again.

As from the 2nd March 2012 Air New Zealand will now be flying to Norfolk Island flights from Australia will be available from Sydney and Brisbane and also the normal schedue from/to New Zealand will still be in place on a Sunday, we will be sad to say goodbye to Norfolk Air but are looking forward to the future ahead.

Tonight Norfolk Island will be holding its annual Christmas Pageant for 2011. All residents of Norfolk look forward to this event every year with amazing prize giveaways, Santa Parade and of course the Norfolk Island Beauty Pageant with the Beauty Queen and the Beauty Princess to be announced. It’s a night not to be missed on Norfolk Island.

In December we welcomed back for their 12th visit to Norfolk Island Mr and Mrs G from Nelson New Zealand who stay in the same unit every year at Aloha, they say this is their “Home away from Home” and we are looking forward to welcoming them back in May 2012 for the Country Music Festival which will then be their 13th visit. Thank you both for your continuing support.
